First let me say I have not used it, I just received it today. Upon opening I was a little disappointed with the thickness of the plates, I thought they were thicker than they are. The quality of the plates reminds me of a children's play set. The rim of the plates seems the thinnest to me. However, it looks and feels good and you get a nice shiny gold finish. Forks and spoons are just plastic forks and spoons, they're just prettier to look at. The material of the towels reminds me of a drying towel and is not soft at all. Apart from that, I think the quality of the cheap plastic cutlery set is good. I will be using this for a backyard wedding and I think the quality of this set is perfect for something like that. If you're looking for something different, this probably isn't what you want to order. Let's see how he manages the day with food.
