I ordered this set for the holidays. They are beautiful and I didn't have any problems with the utensils like other people. However, the cutlery is SUPER fragile - about 50% of the forks broke with every use. We couldn't even use them for softer things like desserts. I ended up just throwing them in the trash so people wouldn't even try to use them. First let me say I have not used it, I just received it today. Upon opening I was a little disappointed with the thickness of the plates, I thought they were thicker than they are. The quality of the plates reminds me of a children's play set. The rim of the plates seems the thinnest to me. However, it looks and feels good and you get a nice shiny gold finish.
