It took me too long to upgrade my old Sidi Ergo 5 and wanted something with Boa dials. I'm usually very brand loyal and the Sidi suits my foot shape very well, but the Fizik Infinito was too good to pass up. The fit is very similar to the Sidi (I have a slightly narrower foot with a high arch) but be careful with the sizing. I carry 45 in Sidi but I needed 44 in Physics. The biggest difference lies in the power transmission with the full carbon sole, especially when climbing. The disadvantage of a hard sole is that the foot hurts sorely on long tours. I've been wearing them for a century and I've felt it - maybe I'll try some Super Feet insoles to see if it gets better. Also note that Boa dials are very difficult to adjust with wet hands. Otherwise a great shoe and a big step up from the nylon sole and velcro straps.
