Was looking for a pant with UV protection of the thighs and down the leg so my legs don't get massively sun burned when I'm out paddling around on my paddle board. I don't do water sports enough to "build up a tan" so I look for fabrics to cover my skin that have the UV protection. These pants are dark, they don't seem to "shine through" to your skin and have a nice panty on the inside for extra coverage of your back side. I like the draw string as well, to give me the exact fit I want to feel at my waist. The only thing that would put these over the top would be a side pocket option to put things like chapstick, phone (inside a water proof case of course) earphones etc.but I can solve this problem by sewing on a pocket myself. I put "fits as expected" in the How does this product fit, but just be aware that they do feel a bit tight, when trying to get them on, just like a tight swimsuit would feel. But once they were on, they were very comfortable.
