While this ball is pretty cool, there are a couple of features I'm not crazy about. First off, given that only portions of it light up, it's not all that bright compared to another model I've seen. You have to bounce it to get it to go on, and while that probably saves on batteries, it's annoying. Lastly, the batteries are EXTREMELY difficult to replace. There are two locations for them, and within a month of purchase they needed replacing. I finally was able to replace one side, but it was so painful I didn't replace the other. If I were looking for a light up soccer ball I'd look elsewhere.
