Review on 💪 Enhanced Performance 1791096 Powermatic Mortise Chisel by Justin Sherman

I bought these with a PM701 slotter. You get what you pay for and they are no exception. The chisel is well ground and the edges touching the sides of the groove are smooth and straight. Drill edges are sharp with minimal burr (one side of the 5/16" drill had a slight burr, but it only took a diamond hone to remove it). The drill is also sharp and fits the drill well. I can't detect any interference or binding. Overall this is another quality product from Powermatic. Even if you're looking for a more affordable groove, consider this set if you need multiple sizes. Your groove will only be as good as the cutting machine you use!
