Very handy swamp fridge. I had a larger one that cools over 600 square feet. This option is suitable for a medium-sized bedroom. For it to work, it's best to leave it directly under an open window. This allows it to suck in fresh and warm air and turn it into a cooler breeze. It is best to use it with ice. My room is humid and when this is on the humidity becomes fresh air. I can sleep peacefully. Now don't expect it to work like an air conditioner because it doesn't. This is only to cool the room down to a comfortable level. Once the water runs out, it will turn itself off. If poured upwards, the water will drain off in about 5 hours. Also, make sure your filter isn't burnt out. Always check it. The machine is very quiet, which is good. My fan makes more noise than this little guy. Overall, I felt comfortable during this heat wave.
