Fits FitDesk 2.0 Table Bike

I have a FitDesk bike. After driving it about 3,000 miles (right) I noticed that the vinyl on the seat was starting to wear and crack. I have also noticed that the skin on the buttocks wears and tears. So I started looking for a saddle bag. The specs say this case is 10 inches wide and 11 inches long. The FitDesk seat is a classic "cruising” seat. But judging by the strap, it's 10.5 inches wide and 11 inches front to back. I decided to take a chance. The cover fits the seat exactly from front to back. It's only a touch short side to side, but the difference is minor and doesn't affect the fit or seat. What's interesting is the lineup. The specs say the case is 1 inch thick. But of course a cruiser seat is 2 or 3 inches thick. Well, that 1 inch is the thickness of the gel pad. The fabric cover that runs down the sides and under the seat is about 4 inches long, allowing enough material to go over the sides of the seat and mount underneath. Here's the hard part. the material under the seat and tightens it but there is a lot of slack and if that were all it might not be enough to hold the cover in place but that is also important, there is a second strap. It is not visible in any product photo. It can be seen in several customer photos. The strap has two lengths. One on each side of the cover, just at the bend where the narrow front widens to go around the sides of the seat. Pulling them down and tying them under the seat keeps the lid very tight so it doesn't flex, bend or move at all. It also helps to tighten the lid firmly in the curved part. seats. Here's another trick. Pull the straps down and tie them in a simple knot at the top. t. Then take the straps around the back of the seatpost and tie them back together. This ensures that the lid does not slide forward. Then tie the laces in a simple knot, loop them around the front of the seatpost and tie. Now the cover will not slide back. All in all, is the lid good enough to be worth adding? Well, for one, it protects exactly the original seat cover. This adds an inch to the height of the car, but you can adjust the height of the seat if needed. (I was between too high and too low, so that little jump in height was really good for me.) The gel is comfortable. Thanks to the cover, the seat looks a bit narrower than originally. Keep in mind that the cover is slightly narrower than the seat. Also, the lid is slightly beveled at the edges, while the original seat looks more like a wide cruiser. I think these two factors combine to make it narrower. Likewise, the back of the cover is slightly higher compared to the surface of the original seat, so you end up with a little more forward lean. Feeling. Since it's basically an upright bike, I didn't care anyway. As a result, the seating and driving experience is slightly different. Not necessarily better or worse, just different. As far as butt comfort is concerned, everyone is arranged a little differently. It seems to offer support in all the right places; there is no chafing and if I develop any sores, at least they will be new and different sores. But for now it works as expected. I definitely didn't want to buy a brand new seat which is the best option and certainly looks like a good upgrade for the price. If something changes after using the case for a long time, I will update this review.
