I bought these adapters to connect the coax cable from the wall outlet to the splitter and in turn to the cable modem and cable box. In the past, the cable company routed the cord directly into the outlet, resulting in a sharp bend in the cord behind the console our devices were mounted on. No more kinks, noticeable signal drops, or Internet slowdowns.
