My original MOABs lasted me almost 3 years so I figured 2 would be the same or close enough. I received them on June 1st and now on July 21st, the soles of both are coming off. The one on the right drops off significantly, the one on the left has just started. This is the end of MOAB One, by the way. I'll buy some shoe goo, but I didn't have to. I expected more from a company like Merrell. I have bought several pairs of shoes from her and have always been very satisfied. Nonetheless, they are very comfortable and I will be repairing them in the hope that they last another 500 or 600 miles. Edit: The rubber outsole fell apart. from a foam pad, but now, just two days after my initial review and not even two months after purchase, the foam itself is coming off the shoes. I am changing my rating to one star. A pair of shoes should not have multiple breaks. What happened to you, Merrell? My 3 year old MOAB 1 is in better shape than 2. Edit 2: I was contacted by Merrell. They made me cut off the tongues of my broken shoes and sent me a new pair. These have been running for 4 months with no problems. I am changing my rating to 4 stars. The first one shouldn't break, but maybe I got a lemon. Edit 3: That was two years ago now. No questions. Love your gear, Merrell! This is the quality I expected. We write it off as a rare bug.
