I have decided to replace my new stainless steel microwave with a Broan stainless steel range hood. I removed the microwave and installed the hood myself. I had to get a little creative to achieve this, but by following the one man installation guide I managed to get it done. Two screws from the kit refused to go in the holes securing the cover to the mounting brackets, but I was lucky enough to find a pair of my own that worked fine. I bought lamps from a local store and they give a lot of light over the stove. It will look way better with my new cabinetry and backsplash installed. I am satisfied with this product and recommend it.
