Very flimsy trowel. Handle clamp will not hold the blade open and closes very easily.
Bottom line: these are junk. I doubt you can successfully dig in anything except sand and loose dirt. The steel is very lightweight and flimsy and so is the nylon pouch. The worst thing about this subpar trowel is that the handle clamp will not hold the shovel head open and so the shovel collapses on you while digging. Sending these back for a refund.
- Pretty tough to re-fold back into the compact form. Solid construction though.
- Limited digging power compared to a full-sized shovel
