I found this very easy to use. I've used it with an iPhone and even using a regular camera without an app was fine, then I go in and edit it with my own software if need be (I have color positive slides). The app was fun to play with, but I mostly used it without it. The product is low tech but worth it. I'd be pissed if I paid tons more for these fancy ones.
