Review on Creality Extruder Aluminum Leveling Capricorn by Christian Young

I bought this primarily to replace the extrusion feed assembly on my Creality Ender 3 V2 after we stopped feeding and extracting the filament properly due to gear slippage. This kit was very easy to assemble and install with a short four minute YouTube video. The gears themselves literally bite into the threads, leaving a 1-2mm dent where the teeth of the rotating gear make contact with the threads. My concern is that this will cause tension issues during extrusion, although thankfully this issue hasn't happened yet. The large adjusting nuts and clamps are fantastic and I have no complaints about using them, but they do take some time to install. Don't forget to straighten the bed! When replacing the standard extruder tube, I also noticed that the tube mates with the extruder nozzle inside the heater block; There was black sticky thread stuck to the edges (I only used white thread). I correctly connected the PTFE hose to the nozzle and had no pressure problems and an inspection after 1 month showed no deposits in the heater block. Pros: Easy to assemble Extruder feeder works great Sturdy construction Large gears and springs in the base make adjustment MUCH easier for big hands. The PTFE tubing is great and doesn't melt. Cons: Poor assembly instructions for extrusion conveyors (if you can call that that useless little piece of paper they put instructions on). Gears bite the thread. , it can only increase. Does not come with a tool to properly cut the PTFE tube without deformation.
