The photo shows the item after washing. The paint is well preserved, there were no extraneous odors. I like that the sleeves are not very thin, which is often the case with women's clothing. I would say this is a medium weight sweatshirt, not light weight but not suitable for winter either. I am satisfied and I recommend it as a gift. If anything changes in the quality of the product, I will update my review.
