Yoyo finally arrived after a significant shipping delay due to holidays, overall it feels semi-solid and travels up and down pretty well, it doesn't have any of the new trick axle mechanisms or just a basic simple time honored design that is straight forward and easy to use but difficult to master. It came with an extra string, and if my daughter sticks with her yoyo-ing we may need it in a few weeks. It feels to me a little on the light side for a real competitive yoyo but for her, a beginner its perfectly adequate.
