When tilted, the TV is about 6 inches from the wall. It sticks out too much for my taste. He won't stay away until the end. Push it all the way back and it moves another inch away from the wall. It's crooked, the left side an inch wider than the right. The video shows it pushed back and it clicked but it stayed mine. It just hangs too far from the wall. I wanted it to be pressed firmly against the wall for a clean look. It's not a clean look. Dissatisfied spent several hours adjusting it, tightening the screws and after seeing this I was able to leave. but still not tight against the wall when folded. It's really hard to align and I tightened the small manual tensioner and the other screw perfectly evenly. I've pulled it out a couple of times, now the left side hangs slightly further than the right. So tired of playing around with it. I don't know what kind of bracket to buy to fit snugly against the wall when down and on rare occasions slip out. SMX. Its smooth gliding doesn't feel very user-friendly. I will try to return this thing OMG what a pain.
