Review on Zig Graphic Twin Color Pastel by Amy Mcleod

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Color selection subdued than expected Meh

Two-in-one brush and small round tips allow for modern brush types and finer lines. Colors are fairly desaturated, more than the color of the lid. I am very happy with the brush tips. They are pretty soft and easy to use for brush writing. I noticed that for letters with a downward stroke, the ink at the bottom has faded more, creating a slight gradient effect. Ink saturation is medium. The weak point is the thinner end of the tip. These nibs feel dry and rough even on very smooth paper, although the ink flows evenly (see photo). Finally, this is definitely an autumnal palette, but there is too much emphasis on cold and warm grays. I would appreciate muted plum, navy blue and brick red. I would classify this set as a beginner's random color pencils, but the price per pen suggests these are the highest quality mega premium pens in the world, which they are not.
