I have a portable DC34 but I don't think it can be used for mopping, only for quick cleaning and in the car. I saw an ad for the Dyson v10 Absolute ($600) and thought I might buy it since my new pup chews on my power cord while I vacuum. I didn't need an electric brush as I have all hardwood floors. When I saw that, I decided to give it a go. And I also bought a floor brush head (from this seller, but it's out of stock, I had to buy it from another seller). ). Now my DC34 works like v10! And all for about $38. I highly recommend it! It was said that I would receive it in about two weeks, but I actually received it in about 3 days! 5 Stars!
