It's good for the price. Don't buy this expecting audiophile quality or tons of bass. The sound quality is the same as a TV, it's just louder because it's closer to you. If you want high sound quality, you have to pay for it. Don't expect that from these cheap/budget products. I bought it for a Mac Mini because of the form factor and a bit more bulk and it's perfect for that. I'm short on space and didn't want huge studio monitors taking up desk space. It looks nice, clean, and minimal in my setup, but gives me more volume for basic tasks and the occasional YouTube and Netflix. I didn't experience any of the noise that others have complained about. it sounds better, the boom and terrible reverberation are improved and the sound is a little cleaner. I've also added damping pads to the legs to reduce table vibration and that helps too.
