Review on Anker Powerline II USB C to Lightning Cable (6ft, MFi Certified) for iPhone 13 Pro Max, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 11, X, XS, XR, 8 Plus, AirPods Pro - Supports Power Delivery (Charger Not Included), White by Christopher Pfaffe

I was delighted to order and receive one of the very first latest Apple cables from Anker, the first in midnight green, theoretically the new iPhone 11 added. But my first impression was not so happy. Not only does the cable look more like a dark grey-green, it also feels stiffer than a piece of spaghetti in a snowdrift. Seriously, this is the toughest cable I've ever seen. Aside from not being particularly aesthetically pleasing or user-friendly, its performance becomes a moot point, after all it's a cable and nowadays it either works or it doesn't. This one works and serves its purpose despite Anker's decision to charge us a bit more for not being all white. I don't really understand how inflexible she is. Good, but not the best result. [INCOMPLIABILITY REPORT] The new Midnight Green cable (which is actually dark gray-green) has an incompatibility issue for me with my iPad Pro 10.5 - my device says it's not supported and won't charge. I contacted Anker tech support and they weren't very helpful. They told me that my new iPad probably has a dirty charging port, although I told them that it charges fine with my white Anker cable and that the green cable works fine with my iPhone XS Max Communicating with Anker Tech Support did really gotten worse lately. Even though I contacted them through the seller's message link which proved I had just bought the cable, they didn't believe me and asked me to send them either the product's serial number or a photo of it to prove I had it really have . They then agreed to replace it, but only if I sent the defective one back to prove I hadn't tried to pull anything out. For me it's very inconvenient because they messed it up. Coincidentally I just ordered a USB-C charger and Lightning cable from Belkin and they work great and the cable is much more flexible. [ANOTHER UPDATE] This cable rating remains high. Although Anker isn't as smooth to deal with as it was when they were a small company, they still came and replaced my cable and no longer asked me to return the defective cable. I threw it away, suspecting an internal wire was broken, and I've heard stories of bad charging cables causing fires. I would still prefer a more flexible cable, so the best I can give this green cable is four stars.
