EDIT: After I wrote my review, I received a message from the seller and they explained that my problem was with formatting drives. By default, they are formatted in FAT 32, which allows you to transfer files as small as 4 gigabytes or less. In this case, if all the files stored on the disk were smaller than 4 gigabytes, then all 32 gigabytes can be used. However, if you reformat the drive to exFAT, you can transfer larger files. I tested this on one of the drives I was having trouble with and it worked. For that reason I'm increasing my rating from 2 to 4 stars (the drives are still a bit slow when transferring files but honestly the value for money is really good now that I know the trick. Definitely recommend I bought these flash drives because I needed something with a decent amount of storage space to transfer files between computers that was a bit more portable than an external hard drive.While some are close to the advertised 32GB, not all are even close ones I've found so far are less than 8GB, but the group average seems to be somewhere in the mid-to-high range of 20GB All flash drives claim 32 gigabytes when they say connected to the computer, but when you try to send more than a certain amount of data to it, an error message is returned that there is not enough disk space i St. This is either completely false advertising or really bad quality control.
