Thermal fuse: iron and steamer
I plugged the iron into the outlet (with supposed surge protector) and turned it on. My son plugged in something in the same room that turned off the switch. Went downstairs, turned the switch back on, and my expensive iron wouldn't turn on. I was in the middle of a sewing project so I panicked. I looked online and found it was probably a fuse so I went to Revane and ordered a fuse. It arrived a few days later, I installed it and my iron is working again! I'm so glad that's all it takes. Great backup!
