Review on Jet Performance 69195 Mass Sensor by Paul Wall

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It works, but you need to know some information.

Ordered this MAF for my 2013 F-150 5.0L Supercrew cab and received it on April 25th. I'm still waiting for this review because I wanted to test the sensor first. Well before you guys make the same mistake I thought I had a fake sensor because it didn't look like the one in the picture because it isn't, it's the same mass air flow sensor as and your Motorcraft original that just got tuned Give your computer the best numbers and set the fuel. I was able to confirm this by calling Jegs because I also thought I had been scammed and they were the ones who told me they use original MAF sensors and adjust them. That's good because your car's computer will still recognize it as original equipment and not aftermarket. Now the big question is, did it work? yes it was for me I've noticed better truck response to gas pressure and better idling. NOW, here's a little tip, if you install the sensor first like I did, the easy way by just swapping it out with the one you have, just to turn on the engine and find that your car is like mines shakes and shakes then you will have to do a simple PCM reset. I did this and the sensor worked great and still does. Easily reset YouTube or Google PCM for your car. But just in case, keep your old sensor. As for the MPG increase, it's more of a 'me', but that's because I'm not a light-footed guy most of the time, so I can't say it's a sensor. Conclusion: It worked for me, I've put over 1000 miles on it and I still feel better response. Some say it might have been a PCM reset but I also did this 2 years ago when I bought a new Motorcraft MAF sensor (recently replaced by JEGS) and the jegs still feel better. It's up to you to decide if it's worth trying or not.
