Works but not as well
Plugs cause a very noticeable voltage drop. Any spot of light behind the port is noticeably darker. Using multiple connectors to hook up lights around the TV meant the strips were so boring I just had to throw them away. Also, the multicolored wire doesn't fit properly into the connectors and the only way to keep it in place was to solder it.
