Just to get rid of this I 100% recommend getting a second battery so you don't have to do half the house and then wait 4.5 hours for the battery to charge. This is actually a great $100 vacuum! Pros: - Decent 50% suction for sofas, better 75% suction for hardwood floors and amazing 100% suction for carpets. - Works great on carpet and hardwood floors as well as rugs. - Super light and manoeuvrable. Fits easily under my sofa and beds. It is very easy to climb stairs with it. Cordless design is the best since slicing bread in my 4 story house. - The LED display counts down the battery life and makes it easy to adjust the suction power. You don't have to hold down the button to turn on the vacuum cleaner. It seems to collect more dust than my shark! At 50% it lasts for about 30 minutes. at 100% - about 15 minutes. A full battery charge takes 4.5 hours. BUY A SECOND BATTERY IF YOU NEED TO VACUUM A LOT. Sometimes parts are difficult to separate. The keys must be pressed correctly and forcefully. The brush head is unusable. It just scatters dust and dirt. (The crevice tool is great!) - The handle sometimes hurts me if I use it for too long - It's harder to push on a longer carpet because the vacuum is very low off the floor - It stands on its own but doesn't always. Be careful near stairs!
