I have a 41mm front fork. I completely redesigned the front fork with new top and down tubes. I saw on YouTube that you can make a homemade fork seal to install the seals. Why would you do that when the right gasket setting tool is a 41mm Motion Pro gasket driver. When assembling it, all I had to do was insert the fillings. Just a few taps on well lubricated seals and the seals install with three to four downward strokes as detailed in my service manual. Best tool for the money, simple and compact as it is kept in my tool chest now. Folks, buy this tool if you want to rebuild your front forks or just replace the seals. It will not damage your top tubes when you slide the seal driver down to install the seals. Easy to put on and easy to take off, will not fall apart during use.
