I put them on seven chairs of different sizes. Three had round legs, four square. The caps were easy to put on the round legs and after figuring out where to put my fingers and that it was almost impossible to tear the silicone, I put them on the square legs fairly easily. felt-like fabric and extremely durable. The inner bottom of the cap has ribs so the cap moves less when the chair is moved while sitting on it. Once turned on, the chair glides easily over hardwood floors or carpets, even with a person sitting in the seat. Used them on 3 dinners and 2 houses on both hard floors and carpet. The only point worth mentioning is the colour. Clearly transparent but slightly whitish. Brown goes well with light brown wood. Dark brown is much better than walnut or darker wood. Normal brown becomes "less brown" when stretched over square legs. (I have some large "dark brown" caps and they are almost invisible on the chairs I have. I hope they release small dark brown caps. When they appear I will buy them.
