As previously mentioned, the Motorad T-Stat comes in JET packaging. Other than that, it works exactly as I expected. I installed it on my 2009 Charger R/T R&T and after adjusting the fan speed with my DiaboSport Predator the machine ran consistently at 185-190Β°F which is exactly what I wanted. As many other owners have pointed out, this thermostat opens closer to 185Β° than 180Β°, which I think is better for a 5.7L HEMI anyway. You want it to be cooler than the standard 203Β° T-Stat, but not too cool. Again, this is an easy install, just expect to lose a lot of coolant, so buy some from your Dodge dealer as well as some distilled water to dilute it 50/50 before proceeding with the install and you'll be done be. Do not use regular auto parts store antifreeze. You need orange-pink OEM Dodge coolant. I've found that I drive better on track with the JET T-Stat installed and now I feel better because my car isn't as hot as it was from the factory.
