Supplied with its own seal.

Supplied with its own gasket, not pictured, already fitted to the thermostat. My car accepts a pad so the suggested purchase of a Fel-Pro pad was a huge waste of time and a minor waste of money. My car is a 2006 Chrysler 5.7, you should make sure the gasket is for your car. . At the same time, someone pocketed $7 for what I threw in the trash.

Mandatory for 6.4 (392)

Fantastic product. Perfect fit for my 2017 Jeep SRT 6.4 (392). Installation took about 10 minutes with a 13mm head and ratchet. The stock thermostat ran at about 215/220 in 82 degree weather. After installation without tuner for fan setting (standard fan setting still works), the temperature remains stable at 185/190 when driving in the city/highway. If you get stuck in traffic, maybe 200/210, but as soon as you start driving again, go back to 185/190. Very good mod for what it costs.

Yes, that's an inexpensive thermostat sold by Jet, but.

I know, I know. This is an inexpensive thermos that Jet Performance sells. Other than that, it works well and has reduced my engine's operating temperature significantly. My 2014 Ram is running a pretty cool Diablo song and loads of goodies. I was apprehensive about pushing extra ponies when the stock temp started to rise. If you have a tuner, set the fan to 180 with the installed one and you will be happy.

JET 10183 Thermostat

To improve the performance of my .7 foot Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab Pickup, I installed this 180 degree thermostat in place of the 203 degree thermostat. I installed this thermostat in 30 minutes and it changed the temperature of the engine. As it turned out, my engine was running much hotter because my original thermostat gaskets were falling apart. This is a quality product made in the USA. I would highly recommend this thermostat as a performance replacement.

I can no longer recommend jet thermostats.

I've used nozzle thermostats on a variety of cars of different names and models over the last 15 years but the quality has dropped a lot lately. I ordered this exact one for my 2006 Grand Cherokee 5.7 Hemi to replace a working stick thermostat. The stock thermostat typically ran around 205-210ยฐF. The jet was advertised and marked as 180ยฐF, after it was installed and warmed up my jeep ran significantly hotter at 217-225ยฐF, which is a faulty product (which sometimes happens) and I had previousโ€ฆ

Jet 180 Thermostat in Parts

The OEM thermostat on my 2012 Dodge Challenger R/T was 203 degrees. Just too much heat and soaking issues affecting performance. The Jet 180 thermostat was easy to install (12 minutes with cleaning) and definitely made a big difference. The installation now allows me to take full advantage of my Diablo Trinity tuner. Quality - High Installation - Easy Performance - High Mileage - 1500 If you want to drive your car or truck with acceleration, you should get one of these.

Definitely helps cool the charger!

As previously mentioned, the Motorad T-Stat comes in JET packaging. Other than that, it works exactly as I expected. I installed it on my 2009 Charger R/T R&T and after adjusting the fan speed with my DiaboSport Predator the machine ran consistently at 185-190ยฐF which is exactly what I wanted. As many other owners have pointed out, this thermostat opens closer to 185ยฐ than 180ยฐ, which I think is better for a 5.7L HEMI anyway. You want it to be cooler than the standard 203ยฐ T-Stat, but not tooโ€ฆ
