Review on Tennis Anklet Zirconia Bracelets Jewelry by Paul Tucker

Turns green

Upgrade: not stainless steel. The finish is worn, it's copper. First of all I like it, it's exactly what I was looking for. It's brilliant, can't tell much from the video and the natural light at 6:50pm NYC (sorry for the noise the fan was running). In fact, I noticed it turned my skin green. Now I can't wear fancy jewelry because it makes my skin look green and the finish oxidizes, so I ordered stainless steel. The title says "gold plated" and the description says nickel free, lead free, never fades etc. I checked and found this: once the gold plating wears away exposing the metal underneath it can start a chemical reaction which can leave yours skin turn green. Likewise, expensive jewelry can turn your skin green if it's made of metal alloys with significant amounts of metals like copper, nickel, or silver. Now I've only worn it for a few hours and the trim wears out so quickly? If the base metal is stainless steel, why is my skin turning green? Stainless steel doesn't do that. I have stainless steel jewelry and have never had this problem. Time will tell if it is stainless steel or the description is inaccurate. The other, more elegant anklet appears to be stainless steel without the green leather. Will be updated if there are any changes.
