The picture does not do this jacket justice. It looks much better when you can actually see it. The detail work is fabulous. I go to several formals a year because I am a ballroom dancer. I get tired of wearing the same looking formal attire. For a party type formal this is great. It has a formal lapel that goes down the front just like other formal jackets. People flipped out when they saw the jacket and wanted to know where I got it. It got a LOT of notice and I was very happy. I did go up one size and the shoulders fit well. The sleeves were a little long, but not noticeable. If you are thin you may be able to order your regular size. I am a weight lifter, so I have a little bulk to my body.
