The power pack is built like a tank.

I bought the 850W version of this EVGA power supply in the special holiday sale for less than half the price, but even at full price it's a great power supply. 850 watts is too much for me, I don't need more than 450. The power supply is only idle and rarely blows even slightly warm air from the back. The modular nature of this device is great for reducing clutter in your PC case; You only connect the cables you need. Some of these cables could have been a little longer, but nothing tragically short or inadequate. Reliable and dependable power for all your PC components.
