If you're confused about coining something, this might help, but only if you're walking in a straight line. Read the instructions carefully and follow them. I've done this and the strips are still holding, but I've used them in an area that's little used now. You look good. I had a hard time keeping the strip folded in half as I inserted it where the table top meets the baking spray. I caulked the rest of my project the traditional way and I have to admit I prefer the look of the traditional method to this stripe method.
