I was looking for a replacement for the Microsoft GPS stick that came with my Streets & Trips 2008 edition; It worked flawlessly for years during my travels, but when I upgraded to Windows 10, nothing. No driver updates. Nothing at all. The device was unreadable. And updating my computers to the Anniversary Update made a Microsoft GPS device an easy way to cause a blue screen of death as soon as I plugged it in. 😅 So yes, I needed a GPS device that would work with my Windows 10 laptop. Thanks to everyone who suggested preloading the drivers before this arrived. I pocketed it, took it outside and immediately got 3-5 GPS satellites telling me my location on Windows Maps, which I consider a worthy successor to S&T. Works great with Google Earth and MapPoint, despite old maps. Can't complain about that; Great device at a great price and just what I needed.
