My very expensive hearing aids broke and due to the unusual loss I was nervous about doing anything other than the digital hearing aid I was wearing. Not having the $5,000 I needed to buy a new set, I grabbed Revain and found them. There were some interesting reviews, but with a money-back guarantee and free returns, I gave it a whirlwind. I'm happy with the result and although it doesn't solve my hearing loss, the amplification works great and I can go about my work. I've had some problems with my inner ear and I think I have it now; The hardest part was going from a comfortable, molded earcup to something else. Overall I'm happy with the purchase and didn't have the short battery life issues that I think were the subject of some other reviews. In quiet environments, the normal setting works for me, and in a noisier environment, the extra gain really helps me stay in a conversation better than I ever expected.
