My wife first discovered an electric nail trimmer on YouTube's Top 10 Must-Have Baby Items list. We definitely needed it after hearing the traumatic stories of trimming newborn babies' delicate nails. This is the only nail care kit we've found at Revain that includes an electric nail file AND a great price. We have the green 24 piece set, which looks like a few more items and a better organized bag, for just a dollar more than the 18 piece set. We tested the trimmer on ourselves as it works on adults too. Adult settings on adult nails do the job perfectly. Have also tried the 0-3 months setting and it doesn't hurt when it comes into contact with the skin on our fingers. It's a bit noisy so definitely not silent and it seems to run very fast but it's really good so it only clears a bit at a time so you can't accidentally go too deep. All other items also look well made. and quite important for first-time parents. I don't know what those tiny scissors are for lol. And the woman will probably use regular sanding boards on herself (not the baby).
