Review on 🔑 Kwikset 97402-732 Tustin K4 Entry Lever, Satin Nickel with SmartKey Technology by Bobby Plymell

We love the SmartKey function! I bought it to replace a similar (but polished brass) one that stopped working after about 8 years. I was not thrilled; The lock no longer worked and could not be closed on either side. Our other SmartKey locks are fine. Anyway, we replaced this and the one on our back door because we installed a new door during a kitchen remodel and needed a different finish. In both cases I set the locks to our existing key within two minutes before even setting the locks. I just really hope that the broken lock was the exception. I assume that the login ban will last much longer. So far none of the others have failed. And you really can't argue with the convenience of being able to reinstall some or all of them in minutes without having to call a locksmith.
