We are renovating our kitchen and went to a restaurant store and bought 2 stainless steel prep tables to give us more counter space. I like them but our sockets were behind both which made access difficult. Protectors are perfect for my needs. I put one with my baking table for my blenders and one with my cooking table for my fryer, instant pots, etc. I also love that there are USB ports if I'm following a recipe off my phone or tablet when the battery isn't empty before I'm even done in the kitchen.
