The top case fits incredibly well and the picture is sharp and clear. The top shell has two tiny ridges at the top and bottom that grip the top and bottom of the screen, and it snaps into place very securely (it can be removed, but requires some dexterity). It's slightly darker than the image because the image appears to have been lightened to be brighter than other official silver MacBook images. But you won't be disappointed with the overall image quality. I don't know how scratch and scuff resistant the picture is, but the purpose of the case is to withstand abuse and I think I can always repaint the top of the case if needed. Close inspection reveals that a multi-colour, multi-layer printing process has been used, meaning individual solid colors are very dense rather than blending like an inkjet printer, and definition of color edges and detail is excellent. The lower part of the case is also securely fixed and fits snugly against the edges above and below. The case has indentations in the bottom of the case for the original MacBook rubber feet, minimizing the extra height without having to remove the original MacBook feet. There are 4 white non-slip rubber feet on the outside of the case. Comes with 4 extra white rubber feet, always useful when dropped or worn out. Comes with a pack of turquoise dust plugs (4 USB-C and 1 headphone jack - I doubt I'll be using them because I just don't care about dust and I just lose them when I need access to ports)). Comes with a keyboard cover that seems generic between touchpad and non-touchpad keyboards - they do this by only covering the keys from the number row to the spacebar, ignoring the escape/function keys and the touchpad area. The keyboard top is well designed - very thin (I can feel the protrusions on the F and J keys through my skin) and with mirrored ribs on the bottom that perfectly match the key gaps (no noticeable slippage). skin, and only static electricity seems to prevent skin from falling off, even when the keyboard is upside down). This is for protection and allows the molded locking edges to reach and wrap around the top surface to secure the case. However, this means that flush mount USB-C adapter hubs ARE NOT SUITABLE. See https://www.amazon.com/WAVLINK-Aluminum-Thunderbolt-Adapter-Macbook/dp/B075ZRCRHS/ref=sr_1_16?ie=UTF8&qid=1530933462&sr=8-16&keywords=wavlink+usb+3.0+universal+doc+ station example . Hubs like this need to fully insert the USB-C ports until the hub's body makes contact with the MacBook's body, with a case with rounded sides getting in the way. You need to consider other hubs with a wired port, such as 1. -13&keywords=MacBook+Pro+usb+3.0+universal+docking+hub (I don't recommend that particular hub, it's just the type of connection you want need to be compatible with this case). Or you can take a mechanical tool and grind off an unnecessary part of the case.
