You would think that with the position of the jacks you could swap out the 1/4 and 1/2 bits as needed - WRONG! At least I couldn't get any of them out without destroying them. Also, and perhaps more seriously, although the bits fit snugly into the hubs on their own, once inserted into the holes in the base, they are too tight for the bits to be easily inserted or removed. I really like the grommets but the sockets are too deep to fit in standard wall cabinets as are the issues mentioned. My solution was to take a few leftover pieces of 5/4" rungs and drill the right size holes to insert bushings at different spacings to accommodate my various bits. I installed a pair of 10" full extension drawer slides (GlideRite 1070Z from Revain) on the ends and glued the front of the drawer to them. I made two of these large enough to fit on the same shelf of an old bookcase that was used to store stain jars and other finishing materials. I used a few thin pieces of wood to build several different sized compartments on one end of one of the drawers to store things like router table inserts and different sized chucks and associated tools like allen wrenches and spare bearings. I love it! I wish I had done this a long time ago - they are aloof but organized and approachable.
