Review on πŸ’— Pink TOPSKY Dual Motor Electric Adjustable Standing Computer Desk: Ideal for Home and Office Spaces by Chad Carter

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Reasonable price, not very good construction, height stops difficult to adjust

This table looks like it was mechanically quite well designed. The twin motors work great and the packaging of the heavy steel parts is excellent! The color looks like powder and is well made. The desktop mount is as good as you would expect, with just a center post on the slider. However, a single slider with a single extension within the support leg is stiffer than a three-stage design with two extensions. I've tightened the screws on this table very hard and it seems very strong. Advantages. Works smoothly without holding down the up/down buttons; quiet No screws were missing. Good price. minuses. Hardware assembly is a joke. screws without lock washers; in fact, there are no pucks at all. Makes assembly cheap and crappy. I used Loctite because these screws can come loose. Yes, they will lose. So there must be lock washers. However, I tightened it and it is holding now. It appears strong, but eventually weakens when sideloaded. I read the programming procedure and it looks like an engineering project that needs to be translated into programming instructions from very bad and broken english. It won't be fun. I really like the functionality of this type of desk, but more detailed programming instructions and some hardware foresight raises my rating to five stars.

Pros
  • Solid construction
Cons
  • It's hard to remember, but it was
