I hoped that bad looks weren't a sure sign of quality.
This product must be fake as I know GE doesn't make cheap low quality products. When the bulbs arrived I immediately noticed that they were not of high quality. The wires were poorly attached to the bulb and some of the polymer used to attach the wires was smeared onto the glass. I hoped the poor appearance wasn't a real indicator of the bulb's quality, but after a few months the bulb blew out and burned the outlet I plugged it into. GE product.
