I needed a raw juice strainer primarily as my Breville tends to leave about a half cup of fruit/vegetable fiber in my four cups of finished juice. To be honest I wanted something that was made in the USA, fine gauge stainless steel, but I couldn't find anything that met that last requirement as obviously cheap stainless steel products are difficult to make in the US (you get the point). While I would use it primarily for my raw juice, I also wanted to be able to rinse the quinoa as well as strain my tinctures and infusions. I found this set and it seemed to me the best in terms of value for money. The filters are well made with no sharp edges, thin mesh or loose stitching, so I don't think there will be any rusting issues. It's designed in the US but made in China - said to be under strict quality control, and having seen the design firsthand I'm really inclined to believe it. I've used them before and cleaning was quick and easy. They did a great job straining my green juice and Ceylon cinnamon tincture. The smallest can be used for loose tea or strained into regular mouth-watering mason jars. The medium is great for wide-mouth jars, and the larger is great for rinsing rice or quinoa, or pouring into a 1-gallon "decorative" spherical glass, which I use to mix all the raw juice into the coconut water. All in all I'm surprised. how much I really love this filter set. I've already benefited a lot from it and look forward to even more in the coming months, damn years.
