Hello everyone! These compact flashlights have given me a lot of pleasure. The light falling from my bathroom into the hallway is magical. The warm pink light is so calming. I've never owned a salt lamp and can't confirm any of the ionic strengths of these lamps, but the warmth of the glow is enough to make you feel good. Another review said they get terribly hot. I was worried about that. I left the house this morning to run errands and see how hot they are. When I came back they felt warm but didn't burn my house to the ground. I'll probably turn them off when I go to work but leave them on all night with no worries. I'm pretty sure heat is part of the ion anyway. It is a wonderful natural mineral.
