MX5 is the best performance for my applications. I still have MX4 and Kryonaut from the last build. I was excited to try Kryonaut Extreme as I lost top$ on 5950x and RTX3090 etc etc. I only bought this as a backup, which seemed silly at the time, but I wanted the best possible performance, so $12 just in case. The Kryonaut X and regular Kryonaut were on average 3-5 degrees worse than the MX5. I reinstalled my old computer that I gave to my dad with MX5 (reinstalled Kryonaut) and immediately noticed a similar drop in temperature. I may not be good enough to use Kryonaut, but I'm sticking with Arctic from now on. I've been listening on the internet and seeing Kryonaut being touted everywhere as if it's the best. After about a week of work and testing, I can say that the Arctic works a lot better for me. Eventually I get temperatures that match what should be on these processors. I can save you time and money and tell you that the MX5 is better than both cryonauts. Or you can be like me and think you can do what others can't, only to waste time and money trying to find out for yourself that the MX5 is better.
