If 'drying power' means a dehydrating antiseptic then this product is excellent. This can work for those with naturally oily curls. The last thing my curls need is a drying, dehydrating product that is leaving my hair dry and frizzy. The second ingredient is ALCOHOL! When sprayed, it literally releases alcohol. I gave two stars because I like a bottle that closes and doesn't leak. So I threw the product away, rinsed out the bottle and now use it with water and my favorite leave-in conditioner.
