ATTENTION - I have used the 3125 and its predecessors for many years. In the past they have been stable and very functional scanners, especially for under $350. HOWEVER. We have bought 6-8 of these in the last 18 months. Each of them from these batches experienced significant paper feeding problems within 3 to 6 months or less. If you clean the rollers and carefully adjust the very sensitive paper pressure arms, this can be remedied, but becomes unusable at ever shorter intervals. Replacing the pressure pad with the supplied spare part also only helps for a short time. It's so bad that most of my users refuse to use the scanner and want a new one even though it costs them good money. Xerox support was aware of this and even sent me new scanners to test. They all do the same thing within months. So I have to recommend that you try something else, even if these otherwise seem nice.
