This pump was the perfect choice for my needs. I just got a five gallon bucket of wildlife repellent and realized I don't want to manually handle such a large container of liquid that smells awful and will stink the whole garage if I spill it. Therefore, this pump was chosen based on intended use and feedback from previous users. I was not disappointed. The pump part just went through the hole in the bucket and delivered liquid to the garden sprayer at a good rate. After ten to fifteen seconds, the syringe was ready for use. Cleaning was easy. I lifted the outlet end and drained it back into the five gallon bucket, put the pump end in a convenient toilet bowl and let it circulate the flush water, flushing out the inside of the pump. The level sensor, which was supposed to turn off the pump, did not work stably, which was not a problem in my case. I found that the sensor would not stop flow when the liquid level sloshed. If the liquid level slowly approached the pump outlet then it worked every time. Since I was monitoring the liquid level directly, the auto shut off didn't matter.
