    Failed 2nd Free Promotion Pump for 5 Star Rating

    They had a promotion that requires you to leave a 5 star rating on this pump and they promise to send you the 2nd pump for free. I gave a 5 star rating and they sent me a very different pump - the hand squeeze type which is $3 from China, it's not automatic/battery powered like this purple one.

    In fact, a motorized siphon is not really a "pump "

    This little pump works great when used as a motorized siphon. If you put the gas tank on the ground and try to inflate the gas tank of a fender mounted mower, the flow will decrease exponentially with every inch you lift the outlet hose. The original intention was to be able to put the 5 gallon jar on the floor so my dad didn't have to hold the jar until it was empty.     The best personal product for gasoline transfer.

    The auto stop function is great! I have used several rentals or similar non-TeraPump products. One broke at the top of the intake pipe on just a few uses and I am very careful not to overload a cheap product like these gasoline transfer products. Once a hose is broken no tape can fix it as the gas will seep into the battery compartment and make a real mess.     Great little pump! for engine cooling and air conditioning

    I don't know who or why anyone would rate this pump negatively. My only criticism is that it took 3 weeks for delivery, but other than that it's freaking AMAZING! You place the main jack in a gas tank or can, turn on the power, and it immediately starts pumping and moving vertically up, almost at the flow rate you would expect fueling a car at a gas station. When you turn off the pump, the gas (or any other liquid) rushes back out of the pump, you pick up the pump, shake it a few times to knock

    Good for a smelly job

    This pump was the perfect choice for my needs. I just got a five gallon bucket of wildlife repellent and realized I don't want to manually handle such a large container of liquid that smells awful and will stink the whole garage if I spill it.     There was a great pump for 3 months, and then it broke. Look elsewhere for something more durable.

    Current test report: In mid-October I noticed that the pump was starting to pump water poorly and was becoming weaker. I thought it might be the battery and it worked a little better once I added new batteries. However, I found that the pump was indeed dying.     I needed a small battery powered pump to circulate a 5 gallon bucket of solution when I came across two versions of TeraPump's siphon pumps. One version runs on 2 AA batteries and the other runs on 2 XD batteries.
